  • Takotsubo (InterTAK) Prognostic Score: Explanation and Clinical Context
The InterTAK Prognostic Score is a validated tool derived from the International Takotsubo Registry to estimate the risk of in-hospital complications and adverse events in patients with Takotsubo syndrome.
It incorporates clinical and demographic variables including gender, emotional and physical triggers, ST-segment elevation, QTc prolongation, presence of neurological disorders, and cardiovascular risk factors.
The total score stratifies patients into low, intermediate, or high risk for in-hospital complications, aiding clinicians in risk assessment, monitoring intensity, and treatment planning.
