Appcardio is operated by PT Appcardio Platform Indonesia (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We provide free, independent, and non-profit cardiology tools designed to support clinical education. Appcardio does not offer medical advice and is not intended for patient-facing use.

2. Our Privacy Philosophy

Appcardio follows a strict privacy-first and zero-tracking policy. We intentionally avoid collecting personal data, do not process patient information, and do not run analytics that track individuals. All interactive features; including Favorites, My Notes, and local preferences;use localStorage, which keeps data entirely on your device.

3. Information We Collect

Appcardio collects virtually no personal data. The only information we receive is what you choose to send voluntarily:

A. Voluntarily Submitted Information

  • Contact forms: your name, email, and message (optional)
  • Feedback or report forms: message content and optional email

This information is used solely to respond or improve Appcardio.

B. Minimal Technical Information (Automatically Logged)

Our hosting provider may automatically record basic, non-identifying server logs such as:

  • Browser type
  • Device type and operating system
  • Time of access and page requests

We do not use IP addresses for tracking or profiling. These logs exist only for uptime, security, and debugging, and are not tied to identities.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

Appcardio explicitly does not collect, store, or process:

  • Patient data of any kind
  • Clinical inputs or calculation results
  • Medical notes or diagnostic details
  • User accounts or login information
  • Advertising identifiers or tracking IDs
  • Behavioral analytics or cross-site tracking
  • Financial, demographic, or sensitive personal data

5. LocalStorage (Device-Only Data)

Features such as Favorites, My Notes, settings, tool preferences are stored entirely on your device using localStorage. We cannot see, access, or retrieve this information, and it is never transmitted to our servers. Deleting your browser data will permanently erase it.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Appcardio uses only strictly necessary cookies required for functionality such as remembering banner dismissals. We do not use:

  • Tracking cookies
  • Advertising cookies
  • Fingerprinting
  • Heatmaps or behavioral analytics
  • Third-party marketing scripts

No cookie or analytics mechanism is used to identify or follow users.

7. How We Use Voluntary Information

If you submit a message through a form, we may use it to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Improve our clinical tools
  • Resolve errors or security issues

We do not use your information for marketing or advertising.

8. Data Sharing

Appcardio does not sell, rent, share, or trade any personal information. Limited sharing may occur only when required by law, or when using secure hosting or email processors to operate the platform.

9. Data Retention

Contact or feedback messages: stored only long enough to process and respond.
Server logs: deleted or anonymized according to standard hosting cycles (typically 14–30 days).

10. Children’s Privacy

Appcardio is intended for healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect or process information from individuals under 17 years of age.

11. Your Rights
