Appcardio, operated by PT Appcardio Platform Indonesia, is a free, independent, and non-profit platform providing clinical reference tools designed for healthcare professionals. By accessing or using Appcardio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
Appcardio is built with a strict privacy-first philosophy. We do not track users, do not collect patient data, and do not store sensitive clinical information. All interactive features; including Favorites, My Notes, and local preferences; run entirely on your device via localStorage and are never transmitted to our servers.
1. User Content Submission Guidelines
A. User Content Requirements
You may submit feedback, tool reports, or feature requests. By submitting content, you confirm that:
- The content is accurate and created by you.
- You have rights to submit the material.
- Your submission does not violate confidentiality or applicable laws.
- Your content does not contain harmful, abusive, or illegal material.
B. License to Appcardio
By submitting content through feedback or contact forms, you grant Appcardio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and store the submission for purposes such as improving tools or responding to inquiries. We do not commercialize or redistribute submissions.
2. Website Content and Limitations on Use
All tools, formulas, code, text, graphics, and other materials on Appcardio are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may use Appcardio for clinical and academic purposes, but you may not:
- Copy or mirror the website or its databases
- Reverse engineer or extract calculation logic
- Scrape or harvest content using automated tools
- Sell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the tools
3. General Terms and Conditions

Appcardio may update these Terms when features evolve or regulations require changes. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of updated Terms.

Some tools may include links to trusted external medical resources (e.g., ESC, AHA, ACC, PubMed). Appcardio is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites.

We may disclose limited information only when required by law, such as responding to lawful legal requests.
D. System Availability
Appcardio does not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation. Maintenance, server issues, or updates may temporarily affect availability.
E. Prohibited Activities
- Scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of content
- Reverse engineering calculation scripts
- Introducing malware or harmful components
- Impersonating others or submitting fraudulent information
- Violating local, national, or international laws
F. Disclaimer of Warranties
Appcardio tools are provided “as is” for educational and clinical reference only. The platform does not replace clinical judgment, medical training, or institutional guidelines. While we strive for accuracy, Appcardio does not guarantee completeness, correctness, or clinical suitability.
G. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appcardio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from any use of the Services. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed IDR 200.000,-.
H. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Appcardio from claims arising from your misuse, violations of these Terms, or unlawful activities conducted on the platform.
