  • ICD-SUDD Score: Explanation and Clinical Context
The ICD-SUDD Score is a clinical risk prediction model developed to estimate the 5-year risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD) in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). This tool integrates multiple clinical variables to stratify patients into low, intermediate, or high-risk categories, aiding clinicians in decision-making regarding the necessity of implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation for primary prevention of SCD.
