    The Kawasaki Disease Coronary Z-score is a standardized metric that quantifies coronary artery dilation relative to body surface area (BSA) in pediatric patients.
    It is calculated by comparing the measured coronary artery diameter to the predicted mean diameter for a given BSA, normalized by the standard deviation (SD) derived from population-based regression models.
    This approach allows clinicians to classify coronary artery involvement: Normal, Dilated, or Aneurysmal (Small, Medium, Large/Giant), which is crucial for risk stratification and management.
    The Z-score accounts for the patient's body size, making it superior to absolute measurements for assessing coronary artery changes in children.
