  • Logistic EuroSCORE: Explanation and Clinical Context
    Logistic EuroSCORE is a validated risk prediction model for estimating perioperative mortality in patients undergoing cardiac surgery, including CABG, valve surgery, and aortic procedures.
    It uses multiple preoperative patient factors, cardiac function parameters, and operation-related variables in a logistic regression model to calculate a precise probability of mortality.
    This tool allows clinicians to identify high-risk patients, optimize perioperative care, guide surgical decision-making, and provide informed consent.
    It is more accurate than the additive EuroSCORE, particularly for high-risk individuals.
