- NGAL Predictive Model: Explanation and Clinical Context
The NGAL predictive model estimates the risk of acute kidney injury (AKI) based on serum NGAL levels, age, and serum creatinine. Elevated NGAL levels are indicative of kidney injury, and when combined with clinical parameters, they enhance the accuracy of AKI risk stratification.
