  • TAVR Mortality Score (TVT Registry): Explanation and Clinical Context
The TAVR Mortality Score developed by the TVT Registry is a validated predictive tool for estimating 30-day mortality after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
It uses key clinical variables available prior to the procedure, including age, sex, NYHA class IV, serum creatinine, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), history of prior CABG, peripheral vascular disease, and severe lung disease.
The logistic regression model generates a risk score which is converted to an estimated probability of 30-day mortality, assisting clinicians in risk stratification and procedural planning.
